TISS National Entrance Test (BSAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for admission to its postgraduate courses. TISS offers as many as 53 Master's Degree programmes at its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses and other locations.
BSAT full form is Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test. If you are applying for (i) MA Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM & LR) and (ii) MA Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) of Mumbai Campus, you need to appear in TISS MAT along with TISS NET.
TISSMAT or TISS-MAT is the new postgraduate management entrance test of Tata Institute of Social Sciences. TISSMAT will be a compulsory exam for students who wish to take admission to the following courses offered by TISS Mumbai.
For management programmes, an overall score of 70-75 can be considered a good score in BSAT 2021.
Overall Moderate difficulty level: TISS NET exam difficulty level has remained moderate. Earlier BSAT used to be considered as tough as CAT exam. Those who have prepared and appeared in CAT 2018, IIFT 2018 and XAT 2019 found BSAT 2019 an easier exam and hope to score high in it.
According to the experts, the BSAT difficulty level is among the lowest compared to the MBA entrance exams. ... However, if one has not taken CAT, IIFT, SNAP or other MBA entrance exams, then s/he may take exclusive preparation for the admission test of TISS.
Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university
A candidate can apply for a maximum of 3 programmes in two campuses in the same application form.
For a course fee of INR 1,03,000 per annum. Post Graduate Diploma is offered in Hospital Administration, Contemporary Education, Counselling Skills etc. for course fee ranging between INR 16,000 to INR 1,58,349 per annum.
