IIFT is a national-level management entrance exam which is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), for admission to MBA (IB) program offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. IIFT 2023 will be conducted on December 18, 2023, in an online that is computer-based mode across various exam centres in India. In IIFT 2020, around 39,752 candidates had registered for the exam.
The eligibility criteria for IIFT 2023 are: Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline. Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by beginning of October of the year of start of the course.
IIFT Entrance exam is the mandatory admission test for MBA (IB) admission 2023 at all the IIFT campuses. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), one of the highly ranked dream B schools in India, no longer conducts its IIFT MBA admission test on its own, nor the entrance test remains paper based.
Key parameters in IIFT Admission Criteria 2023 are based on IIFT exam score – overall as well as sectional. Even a 40 to 50 percent score in IIFT entrance exam awards a high percentile of 70 to 90 and the admission cut off also lies within this range.

The difficulty level of this section in both the exams is easy to moderate. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning Section: Candidates appearing for IIFT need to be quick in their calculations as the exam is more calculation intensive.
Both the exam are of moderate to high difficulty level but in IIFT, candidates have to solve 110 questions in 120 minutes while in CAT, candidates have to solve 100 questions in 180 minutes. Thus, for some candidates IIFT may come across as a tougher than CAT.

One can apply as many times as they wish for the IIFT exam as there is no age limit. For one registration the candidate can only appear for the exam once. IIFT has a total of 360 seats in their campuses- 220 seats in the Delhi campus and 140 seats in the Kolkata campus.
